Wofür steht tanz.nord?

tanz.nord hat sich das Ziel gesetzt, den Tanz im Norden Deutschlands nachhaltig zu stärken. Besonders im Fokus steht dabei das regionale Touring von Gastspielen aus Hamburg und Schleswig-Holstein. Ein vorstellungsbegleitendes Vermittlungsprogramm, mehrtägige Tanzworkshops an Schulen und Vernetzungsformate für Tanzschaffende runden das Programm ab. 

An wen richtet sich die Ausschreibung? 

Die Ausschreibung richtet sich an professionelle Tanzschaffende mit Lebens- und Arbeitsschwerpunkt in Hamburg oder Schleswig–Holstein mit einer bereits bestehenden Tanzproduktion mit bis zu drei beteiligten Personen (inkl. Bewerber:in). 

Welche Art von Gastspiel wird gesucht? 

Bei der Produktion soll der tanzende Körper im Mittelpunkt stehen. Das Thema des Stücks sollte durch die verwendeten choreographischen Mittel leicht zugänglich sein für ein zumeist tanzunerfahrenes Publikum. Es können Vorstellungen für Kinder, Jugendliche oder Erwachsene eingereicht werden. Für Erwachsene suchen wir Produktionen mit einer Mindestlänge von 45 Minuten. Stücke für Kinder und Jugendliche können auch kürzer sein. 

Was sind die Rahmenbedingungen? 

• Bewerben können sich Produktionen mit bis zu drei am Gastspiel beteiligten Personen insgesamt. 

• Der:die Bewerber:in muss ihren Wohnsitz in Hamburg oder Schleswig–Holstein haben. Sollten weitere Beteiligte aus anderen Regionen Deutschlands anreisen und in Hamburg oder Schleswig-Holstein untergebracht werden müssen, ist dies kein Ausschlusskriterium, muss jedoch im Bewerbungsformular angegeben werden. 

• Die Produktion muss überwiegend in Hamburg oder Schleswig-Hamburg entstanden sein. 

• Zum Zeitpunkt der Einreichung der Bewerbung muss bereits eine Uraufführung des Stücks stattgefunden haben. 

• Das Stück muss technisch und in der Ausstattung einfach sein und sich ohne großen Aufwand an unterschiedlich technisch ausgestattete Veranstaltungsorte (auch bezogen auf die Bühnen-/Raummaße) anpassen können, da nicht alle Spielorte klassische Theaterräume sind.  

• Die technische Einrichtung des Stücks erfolgt am Veranstaltungstag mit einem:einer (externen) Techniker:in. Ein professioneller und detaillierter Technical Rider ist hierfür die Grundlage und mit der Bewerbung zwingend einzureichen. 

• Die maximale Spielfläche des Stücks kann 8 x 6 m betragen.  

• Bedingung für die Auswahl ist, dass eine der beteiligten Personen der Produktion ein paar Tage vor der jeweiligen Aufführung das Stück in einer Schule (am Veranstaltungsort) einer Klasse in Form eines Tanzworkshops vermittelt. Dafür wird eine Schul-Doppelstunde eingeplant, die unabhängig honoriert wird. 

• Die am Gastspiel beteiligten Personen verpflichten sich, nach jeder Veranstaltung an einem ca. 20-minütigen, moderierten Nachgespräch mit dem Publikum teilzunehmen. 

Honorare: 

• Pro ausgewählte Produktion wird einmalig ein Tagessatz von 310,00 € (ggf. zzgl. USt.) für den Planungs-, Organisations- und Kommunikationsaufwand gezahlt. 

• Falls notwendig können bis zu maximal 2,5 Wiederaufnahmeprobetage übernommen werden, sollte das Stück länger nicht aufgeführt worden sein. Diese werden mit 160,00 € (ggf. zzgl. USt.) pro Tag und pro beteiligte Person vergütet. 

• Pro Vorstellung wird ein Honorar von 310,00 € (ggf. zzgl. USt.) pro beteiligte Person gezahlt. 

• Für die Vorbereitung und Durchführung eines vermittelnden Tanzworkshops an einer Schule wird ein Honorar von 150,00 € (ggf. zzgl. USt.) gezahlt. 

• Die Reise‐ und Transportkosten und eventuell anfallende Unterbringungskosten werden nach Absprache mit dem Projektteam gemäß des Bundesreisekostengesetzes erstattet.

Open Call 2026: We are looking for your dance productions!

tanz.nord finances five guest performances per production in the period July – December 2026. Please read the following information about the open call carefully. What does tanz.nord stand for?

tanz.nord has set itself the goal of sustainably strengthening dance in northern Germany. A particular focus is on regional touring of guest performances from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. An accompanying outreach program connected to the performances, multi-day dance workshops at schools, and networking formats for dance professionals complement the program.

Who is this call for?

The call is aimed at professional dance professionals whose main place of residence and work is Hamburg or Schleswig-Holstein and who have an already existing dance production involving up to three participants (including the applicant).

What kind of guest production is being sought?

The dancing body should be at the center of the production. The theme of the piece should be easily accessible through the choreographic means used, especially for audiences who are mostly inexperienced with dance. Performances for children, young people, or adults may be submitted. For adult audiences, we are looking for productions with a minimum duration of 45 minutes. Pieces for children and young people may also be shorter.

What are the conditions?

• Productions with a maximum of three people involved in the guest performance in total are eligible to apply. 

• The applicant must have their residence in Hamburg or Schleswig-Holstein. If additional participants travel from other regions of Germany and need to be accommodated in Hamburg or Schleswig-Holstein, this is not an exclusion criterion, but it must be indicated in the application form. 

• The production must have been created predominantly in Hamburg or Schleswig-Holstein. 

• At the time of application, the piece must already have had its premiere. 

• The piece must be technically and scenographically simple and adaptable without major effort to venues with different technical conditions (including stage/room dimensions), as not all venues are traditional theater spaces. 

• The technical setup of the piece will take place on the day of the performance with one (external) technician. A professional and detailed technical rider is required as the basis for this and must be submitted with the application. 

• The maximum performance layout for the piece may be 8 x 6 meters. 

• A condition for selection is that one person involved in the production will introduce the piece to a school class a few days before the performance in the form of a dance workshop. A double school period will be scheduled for this, which will be remunerated separately.

• The persons involved in the performance agree to participate in an approximately 20-minute moderated discussion with the audience after each event.

Fees:

• For each selected production, a one-time fee of €310.00 (plus VAT if applicable) will be paid for planning, organizational, and communication efforts. 

• If necessary, up to a maximum of 2.5 rehearsal days for restaging can be covered if the piece has not been performed for some time. These will be paid at €160.00 (plus VAT if applicable) per day and per participating person. 

• For each performance, a fee of €310.00 (plus VAT if applicable) per participating person will be paid. 

• For the preparation and implementation of a dance workshop at a school, a fee of €150.00 (plus VAT if applicable) will be paid. 

• Travel, transport, and, if applicable, accommodation costs will be reimbursed in consultation with the project team in accordance with the German Federal Travel Expenses Act.
