Mit dem Duo-Lab initiiert tanz.nord ein dreitägiges Coaching- und Fortbildungsformat für Tanzschaffende aus Hamburg und Schleswig-Holstein. Das Duo-Lab bietet einen konzentrierten Arbeitsraum zur: 

• Weiterentwicklung künstlerischer Konzepte  

• Beratung bei Produktionsprozessen  

• Entwicklung von Kommunikations- und Distributionsstrategien  

• Recherche sowie dramaturgische Begleitung von Probenprozessen 

• Begleitung selbstgewählter Fragestellungen in allen Bereichen der eigenen (künstlerischen) Arbeit mit dem Ziel der Professionalisierung 

Im Rahmen des Programms arbeitet jeweils ein:e ausgewählte:r Künstler:in intensiv im Tandem mit einer erfahrenen Expert:in (aus dem Tanzbereich) zusammen. Interessierte bewerben sich mit einer Kurzdarstellung ihrer künstlerischen Praxis sowie einer konkreten Fragestellung bzw. einem Weiterbildungsanliegen, welches sie im Rahmen des Duo-Labs bearbeiten möchten. tanz.nord schlägt den ausgewählten Künstler:innen nach der Zusage eine:n passende:n Expert:in aus dem jeweiligen Fachgebiet (z. B. Produktion, Dramaturgie, Dokumentation, etc.) für die Zusammenarbeit vor. 

Das Duo-Lab schafft so einen Rahmen, der die Qualität der individuellen (künstlerischen) Arbeit stärkt, Professionalisierung in unterschiedlichen Bereichen ermöglicht und insbesondere Nachwuchskünstler:innen fördert.

Wann und wo findet das Duo-Lab statt? 

Die dreitägigen Labs können im Zeitraum Juni bis Dezember 2026 in Hamburg oder Schleswig-Holstein stattfinden. Die konkreten Termine werden individuell abgestimmt. 

Wen suchen wir? 

Gesucht werden Tanzschaffende (Einzelpersonen) aus Hamburg und Schleswig-Holstein, die eigene Produktionsabläufe oder Arbeitsweisen ausbauen oder an konkreten künstlerischen Fragestellungen/Projekten arbeiten und diese im Rahmen eines intensiven Austauschs weiterentwickeln möchten. 

Was sind die Rahmenbedingungen? 

• Der:die Künstler:in muss den Lebens- und Arbeitsschwerpunkt in Hamburg oder Schleswig–Holstein haben.  

• Der inhaltliche Fokus des Duo-Labs wird nach den Bedarfen des:der jeweiligen Künstler:in gestaltet. In der Bewerbung muss deutlich hervorgehen, wofür das Tandem genutzt werden soll und für welchen Bereich der:die Künstler:in  Unterstützung bzw. Expertise sucht.   

• Je nach Vorhaben sowie Wohnort der Beteiligten können die drei Tage gebündelt oder über einen längeren Zeitraum verteilt stattfinden, erfolgen jedoch in Präsenz. 

• Die Auswahl der Künstler:innen erfolgt durch die Projektpartner:innen und das Projektteam von tanz.nord.  

• tanz.nord schlägt den ausgewählten Tanzschaffenden passende Expert:innen für die Zusammenarbeit vor. 

• tanz.nord stellt ggfs. geeignete Räumlichkeiten für das Tandem zur Verfügung und übernimmt deren Kosten. 

Honorare: 

• Der:die Künstler:in erhält ein Honorar von 140,00 € (zzgl. Mwst.) pro Tag. 

• Reise‐ und Transportkosten und eventuell anfallende Unterbringungskosten werden bei Bedarf in Absprache mit dem Projektteam gemäß des Bundesreisekostengesetzes erstattet.

With the Duo-Lab, tanz.nord initiates a three-day coaching and professional development format for dance practitioners from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. The Duo-Lab offers a focused working environment for:

• further developing artistic concepts 

• consulting on production processes 

• developing communication and distribution strategies 

• research and dramaturgical support for rehearsal processes 

• support for self-defined questions across all areas of one’s (artistic) work, with the aim of professionalization 

As part of the program, one selected artist works intensively in tandem with an experienced expert (from the field of dance). Interested applicants apply with a short description of their artistic practice as well as a specific question or professional development goal they would like to work on within the Duo-Lab. After acceptance, tanz.nord proposes a suitable expert from the relevant field (e.g., production, dramaturgy, documentation, etc.) for collaboration with the selected artists.

The Duo-Lab thus creates a framework that strengthens the quality of individual (artistic) work, enables professionalization in various areas, and particularly supports emerging artists.

When and where does the Duo Lab take place?

The three-day labs can take place between June and December 2026 in Hamburg or Schleswig-Holstein. Specific dates are arranged individually.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for dance practitioners (individuals) from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein who want to expand their production processes or working methods, or who are working on specific artistic questions/projects and wish to further develop them through an intensive exchange.

What are the conditions?

• The artist must have their primary place of residence and work in Hamburg or Schleswig-Holstein. 

• The thematic focus of the Duo-Lab is tailored to the needs of the respective artist. The application must clearly state how the tandem will be used and in which area the artist is seeking support or expertise. 

• Depending on the project and place of residence of those involved, the three days may take place consecutively or spread over a longer period, but will be held in person. 

• The selection of artists is made by the project partners and the tanz.nord project team. 

• tanz.nord proposes suitable experts for collaboration with the selected dance practitioners. 

• tanz.nord may provide suitable spaces for the tandem and covers the associated costs. 

Fees:

• The artist receives a fee of €140.00 (plus VAT) per day. 

• Travel and transport costs, as well as any necessary accommodation costs, will be reimbursed if required, in consultation with the project team and in accordance with the German Federal Travel Expenses Act.
